Wiring In A Third Brake Light On A 2024 Ford F-250
Question:
I have a 2024 Ford 250 and i need to connect the 3rd brake light from the 7 pin connector in the back of the bed. What items would you recommend to makethe connection. Thanks for your time.

Hi Cliff,
To connect your third brake light to the 7-way connector you'll need to pick up the 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702. This will have a green wire to run up to the brake light for it's power and two yellow wires to will separately connect to your left and right turn signals. You can either splice these into the backside of the 7-way or you could wire them to a 7-pole connector like # PK12706 and plug it into the 7-way. You'll need some extra 14AWG wire and a few heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-10 to complete your connections. To prevent any feedback you can also use a diode # RM-690 right by the light.
