Why Won't Integrated Brake Controller 2016 GM Truck Work with EOH Actuator
Question:
I am pulling a 2021 Montana Legacy with electric over hydraulic brakes with a 2016 Chevy 2500HD and trailer brakes are not working. Do I need to add something to this trailer or truck to make them work? It shows to be hooked up but gain output is not working during test drive.

An aftermarket brake controller like the Prodigy P2 part # 90885 would work to fix the problem as it sounds like your OEM controller isn't recognizing the EOH actuator since it is looking for the load of brake magnets and not finding them. If its a Hydrastar actuator all you would need though is an adapter like the # HBA-CAM to work with your current controller.
