Are you replacing tires on your car or your trailer? The P indicates these are for passenger vehicles not a trailer. If you are replacing tires on a trailer you want ST tires like the Loadstar ST225/75D15 Bias Trailer Tire # AM1ST96 you looked at. Even then, a better option would be a radial tire like the Karrier # AM10256. The 225/75R15 will be approximately 1" larger in diameter when compared to the 225/70R15 so you will only lose 1/2" of clearance on the top. It is unlikely this will be an issue.
