Will 5th Wheel Hit 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Tailgate With B&W Companion Slid Rearward

with a standard bed and slider b w fifth wheel hitch, will I have issues with my tailgate if slid rearward?

Hey Ben!
The B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3775 will not make contact with your 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 tailgate when you slide the hitch rearward, so you'll be good to go!
I will also add that if your 5th wheel trailer has a tapered nose you can actually use the Stationary B&W Companion # BWRVK3715 you were looking at, even with the 6-1/2' bed. We've received a bit of feedback from our towing community that the distance between the puck system and cab on GM pickups is far enough away that full turning can still be accomplished with a non-sliding hitch.
