Why Are The First Two Fuse Ports On The PD4555V Spaced Differently
Question:
Im replacing my 8 year old WFCO 8955 converter with the pd4655v. There is one more fuse port on the 4655 than there was on the WFCO. What is it for? Any idea why the last 2 fuse ports are moved to the left?

Hi Tom,
The two fuse ports on the very left of the Progressive Dynamics # PD4655V aren't spaced differently for any particular reason. On some of their other systems the first two fuse ports are typically higher amperage, but for this model the fuse ports are all the same rating and just spaced a little goofy. There's also an extra port for you to connect more devices too if you ever decided to add more DC appliances/electronics.
