Transmission Cooler and Suspension Enhancement for a 1995 Plymouth Voyager
Question:
Hi, I have installed a hitch on my 1995 Plymouth voyager, and I want to make sure it is good for towing and carrying weight, so I plan to get the suspension enhancement system, and I am wondering if a transmission cooling system is also needed. The transmission was replaced a couple years ago with one from a dodge caravan, and it looks like the tubes are going into the radiator grill. Is an additional cooler kit necessary, and if so, how do I install it on my 1995 Plymouth Voyager 3.0L engine, FWD

A transmission cooler would definitely be a good call for your 1995 Plymouth Voyager since the factory cooler by itself is adequate at best for non-towing situations. The best way to pick out a transmission cooler is to measure the amount of space you have in front of your radiator and pick out the largest cooler that would fit there.
If you have room for it I would recommend you go with a Derale Transmision Cooler part # D13502. This cooler measures 11 inches wide by 7-1/4 inches tall by 7/8 inches deep. Check out the picture I attached that shows the dimensions of the cooler. I attached an install video for this product that will show you how it would install onto a vehicle similar to yours for you to check out as well as an FAQ article on transmission coolers that you should find informative.
Suspension enhancement would also be a good idea as well. For that I would recommend the Timbren Kit part # TDVR05091. Timbrens are nice because you don't have to mess with air lines or maintaining air pressure in bags.
I attached a couple FAQ articles on towing for you to check out also.
