2002 Chevy Corvette Trailer Hitch and Cargo Carrier Recommendations
Question:
Im planning on moving across country and the only vehicle I have is a 2002 06 Corvette. I was looking at your cargo racks and trailer hitches . I was wondering if you could suggest the best option for me . Any help would be appreciated.

I'd be happy to help you out, Stephen!
The only trailer hitch that fits your 2002 Chevy Corvette is the Curt # C11034, and then for a cargo carrier I recommend using the 20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier # 63155 because it has a little bit of a rise in the shank for better ground clearance, and the walls are higher on this when compared to other options so you get more stability and more tie-down points for your cargo.
I also recommend using the Locking Hitch Pin # e98879 along with the Quiet Hitch # RM-061-125 so your carrier is locked to the vehicle and remains stable in the hitch.
One last thing to keep in mind is the weight rating of your vehicle. The hitch is rated for 250 lbs tongue weight and since the Reese carrier weighs in at about 40 lbs this means you can safely load up about 210 lbs on the carrier. If your vehicle is rated for less weight then you'll want to remain under that rating so you don't overload your vehicle.
