The trailer wiring harness you purchased recently, part # C56181 from Curt, is indeed a correct fit for your 2014 Chevrolet Traverse, and thank you for your business.
If none of the pins on the 4-pole flat trailer connector on this harness deliver a signal to your tester when the appropriate functions are activated on the vehicle then I would first check the 12V power input to the harness. This wiring connection is required for all light functions and a problem here would explain the complete lack of output signals on all wires. The next likely culprit is the ground wire with ring terminal.
Please refer to the linked photo which is labeled to show both the power input wire and the white ground wire with ring terminal. Proper connection of these two wires is critical. I also linked an installation video for your reference.
The short wire from the module connects through a butt connector and the supplied fuse holder to the battery's positive terminal. Check your connections to make certain they are secure and check that the supplied fuse is installed in the fuse holder. Make sure your ground wire is secured to a clean bare metal surface (or to an existing grounding point behind the tail light assembly). You can sand the paint off a spot if necessary, but be very careful when drilling a hole for the ground lead to ensure you do not damage other components. You can also directly test for 12V power input by applying your tester to the power lead to the module.
If power is going in and your ground wire is secured to a bare metal surface and you still have no output then the next items to check are the T-One connectors plugged in to the tail lights. Make sure these are all fully seated together, with locking tabs engaged. You can also test that the vehicle is providing the various signals to the module by applying your tester to the wires coming from the T-One connectors. For example, with the right turn signal flashing on the vehicle, apply your tester to the green wire coming from the right-side tail light; you should detect a blinking on-and-off signal on the green wire. Similarly, with the left-hand turn flashing on the vehicle test the yellow wire coming from the left light assembly. You again should detect a blinking signal.
If you have confirmed 12V power is going in, your ground is secure and that the vehicle is providing the correct signals to the harness then the harness may be bad and require replacement.
