Will Thule Stacker Kayak Carrier Fit Rhino-Rack Euro Style Square Crossbars on a 2011 Mazda 3

Question:

Im looking at getting the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with aero Crossbars for my 2011 mazda 3 4dr with fixed mounting points. I plan to carry a 10 ft pelican sit on top fishing and a 14 ft hobi fishing kayak. Need to see if this mount will work with my rack and accommodate my yaks. Any help will be great!!! Thanks

The Thule Stacker kayak carrier, # TH830, will fit the aero bars included with Rhino-Rack roof rack using the following parts:

Vortex Crossbars, # RRVA118B-2
Feet # RRRLKVA
Fit Kit # DK289

The bar spread required by the carrier is a minimum of 24 inches and the Rhino-Rack roof rack should be right at or a little above that 24 inches. I have included a link to a video showing a similar roof rack with the same foot pack being installed on a 2010 Mazda 3 for you.

The Stacker should have no trouble with your watercraft. You will want to check your Mazda owners manual for the roof capacity before loading the kayaks. The roof rack has a capacity of 165 pounds but always go by the lowest rating whether it be the roof or the roof rack.
