Hey Aaron,

If one of your trailer sockets isn't working correctly but the other one is then that tells me the malfunctioning socket needs to be replaced. I'm not exactly sure what sockets you have on your truck but if it's a combo socket then the Hopkins # HM40975 is a great replacement, or if it's an in-bed 7-Way then the Hopkins Endurance # 41157 is a great option there as well.

Checking the fuses can help but with all the functions being active on one plug it won't do you much good. The only way to really track down the exact place that's causing an issue is to use a probe-style circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and check different spots of your wiring to find out where the signal is lost.
