2023 Ford Escape Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation to Use with etrailer Hitch
Question:
I'm installing e89YR on my 2023 Ford Escape and I'm needing wiring as well. What do you recommend getting?

Expert Reply:
The etrailer Trailer Hitch # e89YR is a great option for your 2023 Ford Escape and I recommend using the Curt wiring for your vehicle:
- Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55VV
- Mounting Brackets # 18144 and # C57202
I really like this kit because it tees in behind your tail lights and then pulls power directly from the battery in your Escape to power the trailer so you don't have to worry about your OEM circuits being overdrawn. The mounting brackets will then give you a way to keep the 4-Way connector readily available next to your hitch receiver.
