Flat Tow Lighting Solution for 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with LED Taillights

Question:

I have a 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with signature LED tail lights. I wish to wire this to be towed behind my RV so that the RVs 7 pin socket can control the tail lights on the Bronco while being towed. This part #118158 would seem to solve the problem of the 7 pin socket combining turn and brake signals on each side while the Bronco has separate turn amber LED and brake red LED lights. But the description specifically says NOT FOR LED. Is there a reason this cant be used so I can connect the turn signals to the amber Turn signal LEDs and the stop signals to the red Brake LED lights? There is also a separate parking/running light LED and reverse LED in each tail light fixture which I would think I could take directly off the 7 pin outputs. I assume I will need isolating diodes on all of the connections. I have the Curt 56468 flat 4 T for LED tail lights installed to feed the hitch receiver at the back of the Bronco so I can tap into any of the wires feeding the LEDs in the tail light fixtures easily enough.

There's actually a much simpler solution for wiring your 2023 Ford Bronco with LED taillights to be flat towed with the Roadmaster smart diode kit part # RM38FR.This will wire your separate taillight circuits to function like a combined setup when flat towed which is perfectly safe, legal, and acceptable. Sometimes people do wire up their separate setups to work the same as the vehicle but it's honestly a lot more money and work than it's worth so I would not recommend that route for your Bronco.
