Availability of 2 Inch Receiver for 2011 Toyota Prius
Question:
I am looking for a trailer hitch to fit a 2011 Toyota Prius with a 2inch opening ... can you help me find one?

All the hitches we offer for a Prius are Class I with a 1-1/4 inch receiver. I do know in the past there was a company that offered a 2 inch receiver for a Prius, but it is no longer available. It could be possible to find a used one. Try doing a Google search on 2 inch Receiver for 2011 Toyota Prius, you might have some luck with that.
When using a 2 inch receiver on a Prius, there is always the chance that somebody will try to use a hitch accessory that is too heavy for the vehicle. This can, and likely will cause the hitch attachment points to the vehicle to fail. Which would be very bad.

The best practice is to use the recommended Class I hitch for the vehicle, along with a hitch accessory that is Class 1 compatible.
