Single Axle Lift Kit Compatible With Slipper Springs

Question:

I asked a question about a possible lift option for single axle Coleman Cheyenne I have a slipper spring suspension the option that was given to me is for a double eye are you recommending I switch over to a double eye Plus getting the lift option because all the information I have found is over under axle swap is not recommended for slipper spring suspension

You are correct that the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 is not suitable for use with slipper springs.

The only single axle lift kit that is compatible with slipper springs is the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # LC87120. This will provide either 1-1/4" or 2-1/4" of lift. This kit will also help to keep the axle aligned. It has brackets that attach to the spring hangers which results in a taller ride height. We have checked with the manufacturer in the past and confirmed that it will work with slipper springs up to 2" wide.
