Suspension Upgrade for a 2004 Ford F-250 4x4 Short Bed with Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit
Question:
I have a 2004 Ford F250 4X4 shortbed with a Curt sliding fifth wheel with custom brackets and a fuel tank/toolbox in the bed. I am pulling a 2012 Heartland Bighorn 39ft. I was looking at the Airlift AL57390 however it will not work with the custom brackets. Does airlift have a kit that will work with the custom brackets? If not what do you recommend? Thank you for your time.

Since the Curt custom installation kit for your d2004 Ford F-250 install on the outboard sides of the frame, I recommend a suspension enhancement kit that installs only on the bottoms of the frame.
You can use Timbren springs, # TFR250SDE. These springs are not air bags but they do work independently from each other and are ideal for carrying the same or similar loads in the truck like when towing a 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer.
I have linked a video showing an installation, the instructions, and a link to our help article on Timbren springs for you.
