Camper Tie Down System For A 2016 Ford F-250 Long Bed
Question:
We are interested in purchasing a truck camper for my 2016 F250 Super Duty long bed truck. Do you have any information on the different items that I will need to place it on my truck so I can compare which will work best for us? Thank you for your time and help with this matter.

We can definitely help set you up with a camper tie down system for your 2016 Ford F-250 long bed. The main things you will need are tie-downs and turnbuckles. The TorkLift Camper Tie Downs are the best that we offer. They are very safe and secure, and the arms can be removed when not in use, and the brackets are hardly noticeable. For your truck you will need the # TLF2016 for the front tie downs and the # TLF3006 for the rear.
It is important to note that the TorkLift front tie downs # TLF2016 will not fit trucks with full length wheel-to-wheel running boards. If you have running boards on your truck that are cab length only, they will fit just fine.
You will need turnbuckles as well. TorkLift also makes some top quality turnbuckles, like the TorkLift Basic SpringLoad Turnbuckles # TLS9000 which is what we recommend. These are basic steel turnbuckles that feature a spring-loaded barrel which helps reduce stress on the tie down points.
We do offer some generic tie downs from Brophy part # HSAB if you want to go with a more basic, low-cost bed mounted setup. These can be used with the Brophy Basic Turnbuckles # TDHP. This will also be an effective tie-down system, but the TorkLift stuff is going to be more durable, secure and user friendly.
I have linked a few of our videos highlighting these products below if you want to take a look.
