The hitch I recommend for your 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude is the Class lll Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C13172. This hitch is a bolt-on installation and comes complete with the hardware kit and instructions. This hitch has a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver opening.
The bike carrier I recommend is the Thule Camber 2 Bike Carrier, part # TH9058. It has a tilting feature that allows you access to the rear of your vehicle.
If you plan on carrying women's bikes or bikes with alternative frames like children's bikes I recommend a bar adapter like the Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar, part # Y02531. This adapter attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bikes to be more level when on the carrier as well as providing more ground clearance.
