How Does the Opti-Brite Interior Strip Light # ILL70CBAWN Wire to an RV

Question:

I bought both the 11 and 18 inch opti-brite exterior awning lights. They come with white and black wiring. Doesnt say anywhere which one is + and which is -. There is no manual included. I assumed black is minus. Assumed wrong. Luckily I didnt ruin the LEDs. It would be helpful if the color coding is mentioned somewhere.

I'm glad you didnt ruin the LED's I'll have an update sent to our site so that the product description will include a wiring color explanation.

In the trailering world white usually represents ground and black is for the positive side. I had it explained to me once that its because those are the colors usually associated with building wiring and that transferred over to the RV's and trailers.
