Will The NOCO Genius Battery Charger Require Me To Change Charging Modes Once The Battery Is Full
Question:
I have a 2019 ford transit converted camper van. I want to know if I’m at a campground and plugged into shore power using my lights and fans what mode should I be in charge or standby? If I’m in standby and my batteries go down from using lights and fan, does the charger start charging the batteries on its own or do I have to switch modes? If the batteries are fully charged and I have the Genius 10 on charging mode is that ok? Thanks for your help

The NOCO Genius Smart Battery Charger # 329-GENIUS10 reads the charge level of the battery and will send a simple float charge once the battery is full. If your lights start to drain the battery then the charger will adjust the charge level to compensate for the lost charge. After selecting the correct battery type with the mode selector button you shouldn't need to do anything while the charger is connected and the van is plugged into shore power.
