Wet bolts and bronze bushings help keep your setup lubricated.every thing ordered fit perfectly a little labor intensive but job completed in approximately 6 hrs shear springs will make a big difference as the old ones had worn out and were splitting bad on left side not so much on right but replaced both sides and all bushings and new wet bolts and shackles now the suspension is like new as my Montane is 10 yrs old
I sent the following comments by email earlier:
Nothing looks damaged although the packaging for shipment could be better. And when I opened the box with the shackles and wet bolts, it was obvious this was a returned order by someone else. It was not properly repackaged, and everything thrown in the box loose. Most of the parts were already cut out of the plastic shrink wrap and carboard backing. The only thing I can see missing at this point is the instructions. However, I have watched enough of the videos provided by eTrailer to be familiar with the installation process.
Thought I would let you know.

I like that I can grease the bolts as the old ones were seized up. What I do need is four more bolts like the ones that go with the shackles for the other end of the spring. The existing springs had 1/4” positioning plates. I used existing bolts for now. Do you sell just four of the longer bolts?

We do not have longer wet bolts then the ones that came with the kit which are nine sixteenth bolts that are 3.375 inches long. If you just wanted four more of those bolts we do have them separately as part # MR52HR.
Everything fit very well, easy to install. I did have to drill out my equalizers for the bushings but my equalizers are of an old design. Very satisfied.
I just installed these today with the help of a talented friend. It took us about 3 hrs total and there were absolutely no surprises whatsoever. We lifted one side of the trailer and completed the work with the other side resting on the tires. I thought the weight of the trailer on the other wheels would mess with us but it had no bearing on what we were doing, it may have even helped us. After finishing the first side in 1 1/2 hrs, we did the second side in a little over an hour. I was surprised. After finishing each individual side we greased the zerks, installed the wheels and tires, and moved to the other side. I'm very impressed. These shackles are twice the thickness of what came with this Jayco RV. So far I'm a happy camper. I can't imagine any issues going forward, but if any crop up I will surely report back.
This is a heavy duty upgrade kit, the shackles were twice as thick as the ones I replaced. The bronze bushings were a great upgrade from the nylon bushings that were currently used on existing suspension setup. Love having the wet bolts allowing for bushings to be greased without disassembling any parts. Would recommend this upgrade kit to anyone replacing their suspension system
It is a quality product, it is a wonderful kit. I pulled the trailer around the block and the axles did not walk out on sharp corners like the old ones did and with the cre3000 it felt like it pulled better over rough roads

The suspension seems to be alot tighter when jack knifing, like no banging or axle stiking way out and seems to pull better on all roads. I am very happy with it.
Still working fine. I am glad I replaced my factory shackles. I was amazed how worn the original equipment was after 3 years of use. I think every trailer should come with shackles that can be greased.
Alex was great on the phone answering questions and explaining what he saw in the photos I send of my busted shackles. He explained that this kit had thicker shackles to go with the wet bolts that should beef up suspension for the rough roads we have for using this horse trailer. Time will tell if they hold up better but Alex was great.
This product is a great upgrade from original suspension system, why this has not come out sooner is beyond me. I would have given a 5 star but none of the shackle bar pins would take grease. I had to replace all zerts and clean out drill shavings from each shackle bar pins. The wet pins were of no issue. Check your pins before you assemble that they take grease.
Just received the Morryde wet bolt kit and installed it his afternoon. The cost was a little more than Amazon but was available a month sooner, helping me get back on the road. The kit was well packaged and easy to use. I recommend viewing a [online] video regarding installation, there are many out there.
This Kitty had everything I needed to came the bushings and shackles! William was extremely helpful in finding the correct parts. I received them very quickly. I attached a photo of the old ones. Definitely needed replacing. This job has some difficulty. You definitely need some jacks to support the axle. But I took my time and used the jacks to help me.
Traveled to Alaska in 2023 with our 40ft 5th wheel. The heavy duty spring shackles carried use through 80+ miles of the roughest road we’ve seen between Destruction Bay , Yukon to Tok , Alaska. Great product .
I had worn out my original shackles (nylon bushings, dry bolts, thin shackles) and ungraded to wet bolts, brass bushings, and thick shackles. I ran into a problem when I discovered that the non-shackle bolts supplied were too short for my Correct-Track system. I used the old (dry) bolts to complete the job.
The service at etrailer is as good as you can get. I made a mistake on my order, made a call and the rep took care of it immediately. Packaging was from morryde, all is well.
These have worked great for me- definitely recommend this kit. Also, this kit has the components you need for 1 tandem axle trailer (2 axles / both sides).
Ordering from Etrailer is great, MORryde products are great. Only issue I have with my order is shipping through the USPS which is horrible my order passed by my city twice before receiving it two days later than originally told I would receive it.
The increased durability and strength of these Shackle straps will no doubt insure a better ride and provide peace of mind. I am also looking forward to being able to grease them much easier. The quality of the product is outstanding. I was also impressed by Paul for his help and getting the items shipped in a timely fashion so we could install in time for our season to start!
My suspension upgrade has performed well over the last year. No more creaking noises riding through the RV park. I have noticed a slightly better ride since the install.
Fantastic Shackle Upgrade. The Shackles themselves are probably two times as thick as the original. The Greaseable Zirk fittings with brass bushings make it easy to keep the shackles properly lubed so they dont grind down like the original hard plastic bushings.
I'm frankly amazed the originals didnt break thro0ough the shackles. But I have zero worries with this new kit. We also paired this with the Moryde CRE-3000 hanger upgrade, which makes the trailer ride much smoother.

So it’s been a year since we made the upgrade on our trailer, and frankly we could not be happier. One of the side benefits of this upgrade has been a smoother tow with less chucking overall. And we know it’s the MoRyde system that’s responsible because that’s all we changed to get this new experience. We are still 5 stars on this purchase.

This Hardware kit combined with the Dexter EZ-Flex equalizer seem to be a very cost-effective solution. I am always looking for better reliability, and long-term use. After installing this new equalizer suspension system, I am confident that the ride will be much smoother, and not nearly as squeaky as the original manufacture set up on my enclosed trailer (Ragen 24C). The OEM hardware, including a triangular equalizer, had completely worn the plastic bushings and every hole that had a bolt running through it was obround. After worrying something would break on several trips, the satisfaction of installing this upgraded system and knowing it’s right is peace of mind.
-Bronze bushings are better than plastic.
-Zerk fittings are better than none.
-Shackle plates twice as thick
Don’t even try installation without air tools! Use two floor jacks to deal with axle twist but otherwise instructions were good. The first hardware kit sent to me was incorrect, so be sure to measure all your hanger brackets and get the right kit. Etrailer was very helpful to get the parts required to get the job done.

reading them, the road side was completed in half the time.
This was a exact replacement for the pair on my 2021 Grand Design Solitude. The suspension on my 5th wheel was totally shot in 2 years!I had to replace all the springs wet bolts and these equalizers.
