Is it Normal For The Prodigy P2 To Read 3.6 When The Vehicle Is Parked?

My prodigy P2 is reading 3.6 while parked with the brake pedal released. Is this normal?

It sounds like the display on your Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 is reading 3.6. If so, this is completely normal. The display will show your current gain setting. The 3.6 denotes a hypothetical power output. You should be able to change this value with the control knob. Range is 0.0 to 13 volts. This is an indication of voltage output to electric brakes. The Prodigy P2 uses an internal inertia sensor to detect deceleration. So no voltage is actually being sent to the brakes when the vehicle is parked.
