Comparing The Curt And Hopkins Trailer Wire Harnesses For A 2000 Toyota Tundra
Question:
2000 Tundra V8 with Reese factory tow package. Tail lights function only What is the difference between the Curt #C55367 and the Hopkins #43365 4 pole flat connectors, other than the Curt fused power requirement? Witch one would be better for this vehicle?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The only real difference between the Curt # C55367 and Hopkins # 43365, besides curt having a separate fused battery connection, would simply be the quality. The Hopkins wire harness only comes with a 90-day limited warranty, while the Curt harness comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
If I had to choose between the two I would personally go with the Curt wire harness for the longer warranty.
