Can I Buy the 15,000 lbs Curt 15,000 lbs TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ a 2-1/2 Inch Shank?
Question:
I’m trying to see if there’s a way to get a different shank with the curt model C17501 weight distribution hitch instead of a 2” shank a 2.5” shank instead of buying 2 separate pieces to swap them out

I checked with Curt they do not sell their 15,000 lbs TruTrack Weight Distribution System item # C17501 without the 2" shank and they do not sell one that includes a 2-1/2" shank. If you're going to stick with this system you will need to purchase a 2-1/2" shank like item # EQ90-02-4900 separately. They are compatible.
I recommend using the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control item # EQ64FR instead. This system comes with a 2-1/2" shank and is rated for trailers that have a 1,200 lbs - 1,600 lbs tongue weight range. Equalizer builds a far superior weight distribution system. Theirs have proven to be more reliable over the years and easier to set up.
