Pin Box Replacement Solution for Lippert 1116 that Can Give Additional Turning Clearance

Question:

I have a 2022 montana fifth wheel 3813ms and I have the trailair road armor pin box that I would like to replace. I think the Montana uses the 1116 pin box. I would like to gain a couple of inches of cab room so Im looking for a minimum of 17 inches from the front bolt hole to the center of the pin. what are my options? Thank you.

If you need additional turning clearance what you would want is a Sidewinder pin box like the part # RP77FR which fits in place of the 1116 pin box that you have now. This would give you quite a bit more turning clearance at 22-1/2 inches since the pivot point is moved back that far. There isn't a standard style pin box replacement that would give you just a little more clearance as the replacements are designed to have the same dimensions as close as possible.
