Belt-driven puller fan does not have a clutch, so it spins at 100 percent of the water pump speed for better cooling at high rpm. Curved, stainless steel blades offer increased airflow at idle, and they flatten out at high rpm to reduce engine drag.
Note: If your application requires spacers for installation, you must use Flex-a-lite spacers (sold separately) to preserve the warranty on the fan.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Flex-a-Lite 16 inch flex fan. This is going to be stainless steel and a belt driven fan, and it does come oriented for standard rotation. The nice thing about this is that it is a belt driven puller fan, so it doesn't have a clutch, and that means it's going to spin at 100% of the water pump speed. Which means better cooling, even at high RPM. As you can see, it's going to have those curved stainless steel blades. And that's going to offer better airflow at idle.
since that curved design catch more air, and those do flatten out at high speeds to reduce engine drag. And the diameter is going to be 16 inches. And those blades are made of a stainless steel, so you don't have to worry about any rusting or corrosion. It has an RPM rating of 10,000. At the center, the pilot hole is going to measure five eighths of an inch. And our bolt pattern, if you go from one to the other, and sort of the diagonal there, it's going to be about one and three quarters of an inch from the center to center.
Going long ways, or across, that's going to be two and a half inches from the far edge to far edge inside that slot there. It does have a total of six blades. It is intended to be used in a standard rotation, and it has that nice premium silver finish. This product is also made in the USA. Now, one thing to keep in mind is that this application might require some spacers to install properly.
There is a separate kit from Flex-a-Lite that you can find here at etrailer.com. And that's a good way to make sure that you preserve the warranty on your fan. That's going to do it for our look at the Flex-a-Lite 16 inch flex fan.
