Replacement 7-Way for 2018 Ford F-150 and Airstream to Provide Tight Connection

Question:

My new airstream 7pin is loose in my 2018 F150. I have other 7 pin trailers, they are not loose. Is there a recommended plug to use? Also, what is the best connection? Even if I need to change both sides. Thank you

For a standard replacement 7-way for your 2018 Ford F-150 we have the Mighty Cord part # A10-7072VP which would easily install and give you a connector that would provide a solid connection. To do a replacement 7-way on your Airstream you could go with the kit part # e99011 which comes with a junction box that you would mount on your trailer frame and a 7-way we know fits the 7-way I mentioned.

Or if you wanted to just replace the connector you could use the part # PK12706.

I would most likely assume the problem is the Airstream's 7-way but you might check and see if either have anything wrong with them.
