For your 2023 Dodge Durango I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98901. This hitch features a bolt-on installation and a matte black powder coat finish. The finish gives it a nice OEM look and does a better job hiding dirt and scratches compared to a glossy finish. The hitch comes with a limited lifetime warranty and is made in the USA.
Since you will be towing you're also going to need wiring. Assuming you do not have the factory tow package you can use the # 118617. If you do have the factory tow package then you can use the # C55384 instead. Both will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.
In order to complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
