Can a P2 Brake Controller, a 12-Volt Accessory 7-Way Circuit and a Powered 4-way Run to a Battery
Question:
Hello, I previously installed 118515 for towing a flatbed trailer but I would now like to upgrade this harness to include a brake controller for towing an RV. I have considered a Tekonsha Brake Controller 90885, and the ETBC7 wiring kit, however I would now have 3 circuits connected to my battery two for ETBC7 and one for 118515. Is what I am proposing possible? Thanks for your help!

Having three things run to the positive post of your battery on your 2008 Ford Edge would not be a problem at all. I have three things run to the positive post of my battery and have for several years without any issues.
And if you don't need a 12 volt accessory on your trailer then you wouldn't have to run the black wire from the 7-way to the positive battery post so you would only have 2 wires there. One for the brake controller and one for the wiring harness # 118515.
The P2 Brake Controller # 90885 and the # ETBC7 should work very well for you. The # 90885 is one of the nicest controllers available because of how easy it is to use and setup, and how well it performs.
I attached installation instructions for the # ETBC7 for you to check out.
