How to Test the Brake Output Circuit on a Vehicle Side 7-Way

SHOULD YOU BE ABLE TO USE A TEST LIGHT TO CHECK THE 5 OCLK BLUE BRAKE WIRE WITH OUT A TRAILER HOOKED TO THE TRUCK? THANKS

Yes, if you are using a circuit tester like our part # PTW2993 you will be able to test the 5:00 pin of a 7-way to test the brake output circuit without having a trailer hooked to the truck.
You would want to touch the test light to the 5:00 pin like you referenced and then have a buddy slide the manual override lever of the controller and the test light should register voltage.
