Water heater sizes have shrunk a bit in the last few years so replacing your Atwood water heater may require a bit of additional work. The Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR you were looking at has a 6 gallon tank and requires 120v AC power (and lp gas). Personally, I recommend switching to a tankless system like the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR93FR.

Tanks typically end up having issues over time and require more maintenance so being able to eliminate it will save you a lot of time. This unit has a heating capacity of 13,000 - 60,000 Btu and and requires 12v DC power (and lp gas) in order to operate. It's 12-5/8" wide x 12-5/8" tall x 19-1/4" deep so you'll likely need to frame in the cutout hole in order to mount the main unit. Depending on the size of your cutout hole we have three different door combinations to help cover it:

16" x 16" # FR98SR
16" x 18" # FR48SR
18" x 18" # FR68SR

When installing the unit and door you'll want to place some butyl tape # AL28FJ on the mounting flanges and some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 around the outer edge of the door to prevent any water from leaking in.
