3,500 lb Timbren Axle Less Kit that Can Have 5 on 5 inch Bolt Pattern
Question:
Im looking at replacing my Dexter axle with a Timbren. I have a Bean trailer that is used off road in rough conditions. I pull it with a 2012 Jeep JKU on 37inch tires. I currently have 31inch off road tires on the trailer for the abuse it takes. I always air down to about 18 PSI on the trailer to help with the ride. I have a 5x5 bolt pattern on the Jeep and it would be nice to have the same on the trailer in an emergency. Is there a brake setup with that pattern? The trailer weights about 3,000 lbs. when fully loaded do you feel this is too close to the 3500 lbs. rating? I thought Timbren offered an air bag setup?

For a Timbren Axle Less setup with a 3,500 lb capacity that can have a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern you'd want the part # ASR3500S06 which has a 4 inch lift built into it to help with ground clearance. Then for a pre-greased hub/drum that has the 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern you'd want the part # 84556UC3-EZ and for brake assemblies part # AKEBRK-35-SA.
