Can The Auxiliary Circuits On Fuse Panel For 1997 Chevy Suburban Be Used To Connect Trailer Charge?
Question:
I have a 1997 Suburban and there are two AUX circuits in my circuit breaker panel under the hood. Can I hook up my trailer wiring using those instead of adding additional inline breakers? The latter has already been done by a shop but it looks sloppy as heck.

Expert Reply:
The AUX circuits you have on the engine compartment fuse panel of your 1997 Chevrolet Suburban are connected to the fuse openings just below the connection points. While these could be used you are relying on a fuse which could easily blow and the Circuit Breaker # 9510 will trip the circuit and reset to prevent having to be replaced should the circuit charge more power than the fuse is rated for.
