To set your truck up with a 6 pin connector you will need to install both the Curt 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector
# C58044 and the universal install kit # ETBC6. There are no plug and play options available and you will need to hardwire the connector. This wiring kit will come with a wire tester that will be helpful for this job.
If you plan to tow other trailers in the future, I suggest installing the # ETBC7 kit instead of the # ETBC6. This way you will be equipped with the standard 7 way plug. You can use an adapter # 47549 to plug in your 6 round. With this setup you can hook up virtually any standard trailer connector if needed.
