No Brakes Or Blinker With A Hopkins HM48925 Converter - What Can I Do?

2018 Honda Goldwing wires going into converter test correct. outgoing to trailer, only running lights have power. No brakes or blinker. Bike is led, trailer incandescent

It certainly sounds like you are dealing with a bad converter. If you have already tested the wires going in and out of the Hopkins # HM48925, you have narrowed the problem down to the converter itself. It is not unheard of for the converters to go bad after some time. It would not make a difference with the LED/incandescent light setup. You should still be getting good signal in and out of the converter. At this point it will need to be replaced.
We do suggest going with a different brand of converter such as the Curt # C56175 or Tekonsha # 119178, as these will be more durable and should last longer than a Hopkins.
