I spoke to my contact at Rhino Rack and our best recommendation for a roof rack would be the 2500 Series Roof Rack System. By using this system, two of the three components would work on both the 2012 Chevrolet Traverse and the 2007 Mazda CX-7.

The 2012 Traverse will use Custom Clamps and Pads, # DK297, along with the Rhino Rack 54 Inch Long Crossbars, # RRVA137B-2 and Leg Kit, # RRRLKVA.

The 2007 CX-7 will use Custom Clamps and Pads, # DK289, which attach to factory mounting points in a gutter channel on the roof or # DK220 for gutter-less vehicles. I am attaching two videos to show you the difference between the styles. The previously mentioned crossbars and leg kit can be used with both vehicles. Keep in mind that the Mazda calls for 49 inch crossbars so these will be a little long. Measurements for feet placement will also have to be adjusted from those in the instructions due to the longer bars being used on this vehicle.
