What Axle Rating Should Leaf Spring be for a 4,400 lb Trailer Axle
Question:
I have 4400lbs axles, what rate leaf springs should be used ? Currently have 2200lb springs. Would 4000lb springs be too stiff ?

You'd want to go with leaf springs that are rated by axle that matches what your trailer axle is. So since you have a 4,400 lb axle a 4,500 lb axle leaf spring like the part # e72SR would work really great. This spring is 26 inches long.
