Can The Fuse Be Removed From T-One Harness When Not Towing a Trailer For an Extended Period Of Time?

i would like to ask the expert whether can i remove the tow harness fuse when i do not tow any utility trailer, i have aready instlalled the wire harness 118723 onto my vehicle.. The reason i am asking is because i only tow 3 or 4 months in a year.Please advice.Thank you.
