Can Shank Part of Diversi-Tech ALMB Be Replaced

Question:

I have a diversi-tech hitch. wondering if I can purchase just the drop bar. Vehicle was totaled and couldnt remove the mount. Just able to get the ball portion removed. Dt-ALMB6xxx series

You might be able to find a spare shank piece of the older Diversi-Tech ALMB series ball mount somewhere as a single replacement part, but unfortunately since Diversi-Tech was bought out that line was discontinued so if you only have that ball portion left you'll likely have to replace the entire thing.

A solid replacement option is the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS10049B because of how adjustable it is and that it's backed by a limited lifetime warranty. This is rated for 10K and fits a 2" hitch receiver so if you end up needing something else please let me know and I'll be more than happy to help you find the best replacement possible!
