Correct Flat Tow Wiring for a 2019 Ford F-250 w/ LED Lights

Question:

I have a 2019 Ford F250 king ranch with LED and rear sensor tail lights that your plug and play options do not work per my installer. I am assuming you have a workaround other than drilling a hole in the back of the light for one a little additional light

Yes, we definitely do. Drilling into those LED's kills the entire light and we've heard some horror stories. The correct wiring kit for your 2019 Ford F-250 is the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267. This kit includes everything you need for installation, including diodes that will work with your LED lights and act to prevent any type of electrical feedback. It also includes the 7-way to 6-way cable to connect your RV to your F-250.

Here are some other parts you'll need to flat tow your 2019 Ford F-250:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e84ZR

Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM28FR

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes.

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
