Replacing Brake Assemblies On An Old 32' Gooseneck Trailer With Kelsey Axles
Question:
I have an old 32foot gooseneck trailer with kelsey axles, the tag is not ledgible. The curent brake assemblies are not operable and I need to know what brake assembly to use as replacement pars.

I can certainly point you in the right direction. If the tag is not readable, it is best to have you confirm some specs prior to ordering. The best thing to do will be to remove a hub and measure the diameter and depth of the brake shoes. This way we will know what will fit inside your drum. For example, a 7,000 lb axle uses a standard 12" diameter x 2" wide brake shoe and uses a 5 bolt brake flange. If the current brakes match these specs, you can replace them with the electric brake assemblies # AKEBRK-7-SA.
