Will Stromberg Carlson Powered A Frame Jack Click if Motor Runs Out of Stroke

For the Stromberg Carlson SC63VR, does it stop retracting when reaching minimum height, or does it keep on clicking?

You would not want to run the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # SC63VR all the way up or down and continue to activate the motor of the jack. It doesn't have a stop built into the screw/nut of it so it can damage itself if you do this. It will make a clicking noise at this point as the motor is overloaded essentially so you would want to do your best to never near that clicking sound.

The Stromberg Base Pad part #SC28VR has a weight capacity of 6,000 lbs so it would easily work on your 3,800 lb trailer and you'd just take the foot off and slip it into the center hole of the base.
