Replacement Switch Recommendation for Husky Brute Powered Trailer Jack HT87247

Question:

I am unable to raise or lower the electric jack other than in manual override. The unit is getting poer, as the switch on the right that activates the led lights is working as it should and the remotes are intact, getting a flaasing light from the leds on the jack as it normall does. IWhen opening the housing cover, I am getting a green micro light flashing. This light is attached to the circuit board. I am thinking that I am in need of a replacement power switch, that the current switch is no closing the circuit to allow the jack to extend/retract. If I am on the right track, coulfd you advise of the part number. If not what could it be? Thanks

Since you have already tested the switch and found it to be defective it will need to be replaced. The original part is no longer available, but could potentially be sourced through an electonics supply store. If the jack has more problems and must be replaced I can make a recommendation.

I think the best value for an A-frame tongue jack is the Stromberg Carlson # SC63VR which is rated for 4500 pounds of tongue weight. This is 1000 pounds more than other models, and even though you may not need this much capacity, you will find that the jack motor runs quick and effortlessly. This will add years to its life. This jack also has a unique clutch that prevents damage from overextending or retracting the jack foot - the most common reason for jack failure. I also like that is has a generous 23" lift, including a time-saving drop-foot. It includes LED lights for operating the hitch in the dark, and a built-in bullseye leveling bubble.
