Are Castle Rock Tires Bad Tires As Indicated By Outside Reviews
Question:
What is your experience with Castle Rock tires? There are a lot of poor reviews online but with etrailer.com reputation you must be happy selling them.

Castle Rock Tires like the # LHCK301 are perfectly fine trailer tires. I am aware of the stories people have, primarily with blowouts. However, in many cases tire failure was likely due to poor maintenance. Could it have been the Castle Rock tire? Sure, any tire out there is subject to problems and nothing is perfect. More than likely the problems you have read about are due to poor inflation, exceeding the speed rating of the tire, or overloading the trailer.
This is also why many of those stories have people firing back about TPMS systems like the # TM89FR. Unless you are diligent, it can be very easy to forget to check your tire pressure. Heat caused by underinflation is the number one reason tires fail. A TPMS system helps you keep track of that pressure and remember to keep them properly inflated.
When it comes down to it, many people use these tires on their trailer without issue. Castle Rock tires also come with a 5-year warranty and a 1-year no excuses guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
