Left Turn Signal on Trailer is Out With 2006 Ram

Hey just wondering if you can help me so it doesn’t matter what trailer I hook into my left signal is always out but everything else works fine?

The first thing to do is take a look at your owner's manual to locate any fuses or relays and ensure they are all there and in working order. If they are, in order to determine the specific problem you will need to use a circuit tester and test the connector on your 2006 Ram after disconnecting it from your trailer.
You will also want to check your 7-way connector for both a damaged pin or corrosion, which can be green or white in color. A build-up of corrosion can interfere with the signals getting through the connector, and if the connector is damaged or there is too much corrosion replace the 7-way with Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector # HM42190.

Additionally, to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector, and increase its durability and lifespan I highly recommend using Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755.
