Replacment Ducted A/C Options for Unknown A/C Unit(s) on a 2001 Georgie Boy Landau

Question:

I have a 2001 Georgie Boy Landau. One of the 2 A/C units died. There is no information any place. The labels pealed off years ago. I took the shroud off and looked there too. Each unit has its own remote wired analog thermostat, old school with manual slides. They are ducted with each supporting 5-6 vents, plus the back of the unit dumps air directly underneath. I dont know if this normal behavior as I bought it used. Each unit is on a 20 AMP breaker. An RV store guy said the picture I have of the control board has a Dometic part number. I have some pictures but they dont really tell you anything. This is all the information I have. I need options on a replacement.

To be completely honest, with the lack of information on your current A/C unit(s), your best bet is going to be a complete replacement option. But even then you will have some choices.

The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR24FJ would replace both of your current A/C units and work with your ducted motorhome. This system includes a multi-zone thermostat, so you would have 1 thermostat capable of controlling both units.

If you wanted to maintain each A/C having their own thermostat, you could use the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR65PV. This also works with your ducted motorhome but would allow you to replace just one A/C at a time as needed if you didn't want to replace both right now.
