Comparing etrailer and Curt Trailer Hitch for 2023 Dodge Durango

What is the difference between these two hitches? Will they both fit my 2023 Durango?

The Curt # C13182 and etrailer # e98901 are the same hitch with the exception of the finish. Both of these will fit your 2023 Dodge Durango. The Curt has a glossy finish while the etrailer hitch has a matte black finish. I prefer the matte black since it does a better job hiding inevitable dirt and scratches. If the finish isn't a concern then I would choose whichever has a lower price.
If you plan to use the hitch for towing you will also need wiring. Assuming you do not have the factory tow package you can use the # 118617. If you do have the factory tow package then you can use the # C55384 instead. Both will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.
For a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
