Can The C56261 and 37185 Share The Same 12V Wire On A 2015 Toyota Sienna?
Question:
Hello I am setting up my 2015 Toyota Sienna To tow a trailer. I want to have a 7 way plug on the back. My question is if these item # C56261 & Item # 37185 can share the same wiring to battery. Given that only ONE of these connections (4 flat or 7 pin) will be connected to a trailer, can they share a 12v wire?

No, the # C56261 and # 37185 cannot share the same 12v wire on your 2015 Toyota Sienna. Both wires will need to be run to the battery as they are for different functions. 12v wire on the # C56261 is to power the converter. The black 12v wire on the # 37185 is to bring power to the 7 way plug. So they are both 12v black wires but they are not used for the same thing. There are no wires that will be combined minus plugging the 4 way into the 7 way. I do recommend using the # ETBC7 kit as it will include all of the wiring and circuit breakers needed to make the 7 way functional.
I have linked a few install videos if you want to take a look at the steps.
