Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For A 2024 Acura MDX

Was looking for a trailer hitch for my MDX and wondering how hard the install will be? Can I do this myself or will I have to pay a mechanic to install this?

For your 2024 Acura MDX you can use the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e27KR. This hitch has a hidden design so you'll only see the receiver tube for a more factory look. Because of this you won't be able to store a full-size spare under the vehicle and will instead need a smaller spare.

As for the installation, it's honestly super easy easy to do since the undercarriage is pretty open and shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes for someone with limited mechanical skills. I've attached a video below where Brad will walk you through the installation process.

if you plan on towing anything then you'll also want the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236 to transfer your light signals back to the trailer.
