Outdoor TV Powers Itself Off Before The Outdoor Temperature Exceeds Manufacturers Rating
Question:
TV goes off before outdoor temperature reaches 100 degrees. Have performed the hard reset twice but no change. What next?

A problem common with outdoor tv's is cooling. If the TV becomes filled with dust inside the internal components will not cool as well. If the TV uses any type of cooling fan the fan will often become covered in dust which also reduces its ability to cool the internals properly. I recommend starting with checking the vent openings on the back of the TV for any restrictions in air flow. You can also used compressed air canisters like those used to clean keyboards and other electronics to blow out any dust inside the TV.
