That motor is the Replacement Motor with Clutch for Lippert Ground Control 2.0 Electric Leveling System # LC241795.

The Lippert Ground Control System was replaced by the 3.0 system. The 3.0 system uses a different style of motor and is not compatible with the 2.0 system. Which means there is not an upgraded motor to increase weight capacity.

If this is the original system on your 5th wheel, then it would be properly rated for your 5th wheel and the motor capacity would not be the issue. But rather the motor or gear box may be worn out and just need to be replaced. Or it could be an issue in the wiring, sometimes issues like this present themselves when there is a fault in the wirirng. There may be power getting to the motor, but it could be insufficient to fully operate correctly.

The correct replacement motor is the Replacement Motor with Clutch for Lippert Ground Control 2.0 Electric Leveling System # LC241795 and the correct replacement gear box is the Replacement Aluminum Gearbox # LG-179015.
